Treehouse Daydreams began with one vision in mind: collect inspiration from the small details that make up my days -- and CREATE.
The Art of the Sun Print
Cyanotypes, also known as Sun Prints, are one of the oldest photographic techniques dating back to the 1800s. This process uses a combination of two non-toxic chemicals (ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide) that create a vibrant cyan-colored print when mixed together and exposed under light.
With much inspiration from island life and botanicals, each piece holds a story that I am so pleased to share with you.
